I’m *ahem* years old and I live in Laramie, Wyoming, with my husband, 2 dogs, and 1 cat.  You might see the kids make an appearance here occasionally.  I became a nerd in August 1981, when my elementary school in Wisconsin got an Apple ][+ for everyone to share, and I’ve been a nerd and Apple/Mac user ever since. I graduated from the only college in the country with a waltz for a fight song.  In the past, I’ve been a burger flipper, ice cream scooper, computer lab rat, departmental assistant for music, deli meat slicer, pump jockey, turkey processor, kid walker, receptionist, camp counselor, tax accountant, pastor, preacher, cook, photo developer, cashier, and secretary.  Now, I’m just at home with a soldering iron as I am with a clothes iron … but you’d never guess it by looking at the hubby’s shirts!  I’m a musician, theologian, historian, and all-around nerd.  I’m a commissioned composer and a peer-published medievalist.  I like to cook, play with electronic circuits, preserve food, play with radio transmitters, watch TV, travel.  I could teach you how to make jelly and set up your house WiFi … but I don’t recommend using jar lids to improve your network’s range :-)  Come on down, hang out here, and you never know what you might learn!
